We have tried to remain accessible to our community in every way possible and keep the building at ABQ Central as visually welcoming as possible. Unfortunately, or Day Care staff daily ask people to move camps away from or front door for grocery deliveries and we are the only building in the neighborhood without a front fence. This allows people to hide along the side of the building and use the area for drug use and as a restroom facility. This means that we have to serve food over the odor of feces and amidst the piles of needles. We have gotten quotes on a fence that would have large gates that we could open when the area is monitored and closed when we are unable to monitorit.
